Dale Wins Prestigious National Rally Driver Award
Peugeot’s Justin Dale has seen the end of his winning season round out in immaculate style, by being awarded with the Autosport Award for ‘National Rally Driver of the Year.’ The nominations were made for this award by members of the public voting, so his excellent performance through the year in the Formula Rally championship have obviously been noted by spectators and Peugeot fans alike.
In a star-studded event at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, Dale commented, "Hopefully this award will help me get out in a World Rally Car next year. It’s been a great year both for me and the whole team."
Speed and consistency were the hallmarks of Dale’s season this year as he follows in the footsteps of previous winners, including soon to be Peugeot WRC latest star, Richard Burns. Burns also won an award on the evening for ‘International Rally Driver of the Year’.
