Wrexham Rally Test Session
With the first round of the new Formula Rally Championship just over 2 weeks away, the Peugeot Sport team went to Wales for a one-day gravel test.
At the moment, the new Peugeot 206 has had very little development for gravel, so Peugeot will be using a 2000-specification Peugeot 106 for the Wrexham Rally.
Despite not competing on gravel since last June, Justin was soon setting similar times to last year and covered over 80 miles during a productive day. Although the test session was intended purely as a "shakedown" exercise, the team did experiment with some new pattern Michelin gravel tyres which they hope to run on the 206 Maxi on later rounds of the championship.
