Foot and Mouth Delays Season
The continuing outbreak of Foot and Mouth disease in the UK has forced the postponement of most motorsport events. At the moment, the Wrexham Rally has been delayed and it seems likely that the next round of the championship - the Carlisle Rally - will be unable to run on it's intended date.
While it is disappointing that the start of the championship is delayed, it will give the Peugeot Sport team more time to ensure the new 206 Super 1600 rally car is ready by the time the Formula Rally Championship finally starts.
